About us
Founded in 1946, the coin club of Worcester County Massachusetts is a group of coin collectors and dealers of all types.
We meet once each month, except July and August, and put on an evening educational program, along with a bid board and small auction. A monthly newsletter is sent to each member, and we welcome visitors to our meetings.
We have an active YN (Young Numismatists) program, where younger members gain from the experience of others, and work on special projects, which can include exhibiting what they have learned. It is an excellent means for providing education to the young, which represent the future
of the hobby.
We routinely lead the Young Numismatists session at the annual New Hampshire Coin Expo. One of the other projects the club worked on was supporting the 2010 Convention of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), which was held
in Boston in August 2010. The club provided co-chair for the ANA Educational Exhibits.
