About us
Founded in 1946, the coin club of Worcester County Massachusetts is a group of coin collectors and dealers of all types.
We meet once each month, except July and August, and put on an evening educational program, along with a bid board and small auction. A monthly newsletter is sent to each member, and we welcome visitors to our meetings.
We have an active YN (Young Numismatists) program, where younger members gain from the experience of others, and work on special projects, which can include exhibiting what they have learned. It is an excellent means for providing education to the young, which represent the future
of the hobby.
One of the projects the club is working on is supporting the 2010 Convention of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), which will be held
in Boston in August. The club is providing co-chair for the ANA Educational Exhibits.
